Demo template reference
When you first sign up, we provide a front-end template for demo purposes. You can see an example of how your website gets populated with the data you enter into the CMS.
It's possible to use the template for your own site, but it only supports minimal customization options. If you'd prefer to have full control over the appearance of your site, check out our APIs for Fontdue.js and GraphQL or get in touch with us about full-service website development.
The template automatically adjusts to the size of your font catalog. If you have a single typeface, your site homepage becomes the product page for that typeface. If you have more than one, the homepage is an index with links to each product page.
Pages
You may add additional pages (About, Contact, etc) by adding new Pages. They will automatically appear in the site navigation, as long as they have a slug. Reorder the nav by reordering the list in the Pages admin index.
Gives pages the tag footer
to move them to the footer navigation.
Licenses
Create an index page for your font licenses by adding a Page with the special slug licenses
. The list of licenses appears in a side navigation. Any text you add to the page appears in the main section of the index page.
Test fonts
Create a page for customers to download Test fonts, by adding a Page with the special slug test-fonts
. Any text you add to the page appears before the download form.
Articles
Create an article index by adding a Page with the special slug articles
.
The article index will populate tags in the left column. For example, add tags like News
or Fonts in use
to your articles.
Images you add to articles will populate in the header portion of the article template. The first image is also used for the thumbnail on the index page.
Login page
To customize the message at the top of the page, create a Page with the special slug customer-login
and add your text.
