Update 002

Hello again! We’ve been working hard on new features – here’s a quick update on what we’ve been up to.

Customer login

A popular request, we’re excited to announce the first version of the Fontdue customer login system. The Template has a new Log in link in the top nav – and adding it to your own site is as simple as dropping in the new Customer Login Form component. Customers submit their email address, and we send them an authenticated link to a Fontdue-hosted customer dashboard on your site. This page lists all of their purchases with links to download invoices and font files.

We have plans to add features to this dashboard in the future, for example allowing customers to download new versions of fonts, and purchasing upgrades for licenses.

New to the Fontdue family

We are pleased to welcome several new type foundries that have launched their sites with Fontdue: ATS Type, David Einwaller, Manic Type, Plau, Type: Royal, and Tipofili.

What else is new?

As always, we’ve released many small features and bug fixes, see what’s new over on the docs site.
